Sharon Ann Allison

Sharon A. Allison, 72, of Oshkosh died Sunday June 15, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1935 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Alvin and Elsie Fauk Paffenroth. Sharon married James E. Allison on September 27, 1958 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2007. Sharon was employed at Evergreen Retirement Community for several years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church. Sharon was an avid sports fan, especially being a Packer and Brewer fan. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and most of all time with her grandkids. Her survivors include a daughter Patty Allison of Madison; three sons Craig Allison of Oshkosh, Curt (Shari) Allison of Caledonia, and John (Wendy) Allison of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren Emma, Lily, and Nora Allison. She was preceded in death by a brother Marlin Paffenroth. Funeral services for Sharon will be held Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church (1206 Ontario St.), Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral home-Eastside (402 Waugoo Ave) on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and at the church Thurs. from 10 AM until the service. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial has been established in memory of Sharon.
