Sherry F. Durkee

Sharon "Sherry" F. Durkee (Nee Krause), age 83, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Bella Vista.

Sherry was born on June 30, 1941 in Oshkosh, WI, to Franklin and Harriet (Paulson) Krause. She graduated from Oshkosh High School. She was the secretary at Rosevelt Elementary School. Sherry married Lawrence "Chummy" Durkee June 3, 1961 in Oshkosh.

Sherry enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards with family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lorie (Dave) Riviere, Jay (Sara) Durkee; grandchildren, Leona (Jared) Willey, Emily Fleck, Thomas (Calli) Rieder; great-grandchildren, Jerimiah Whitley, Leia Lambrecht, Brogan and Sullivan Willey, Kaeo Padillo, and Adalee Willey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chummy; her parents, Franklin and Harriet; brother, Timothy (Marlene) Krause; and great-nephew, Timothy R. Krause.

A funeral service for Sherry will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 21, 2024 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave, Oshkosh. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00pm and continue until the start of the service.
