Sharon L. Wilson

Sharon L. Wilson, age 78 of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at KindredHearts of Green Lake. She was born on June 5, 1943 to the late Ervin and Esther Behnke in Oshkosh. Sharon married Gary Wilson on January 3, 1962, and their marriage was blessed with six children.

Sharon stayed busy raising her children in her early years. In her later years, she discovered she had a love for the simple things in life! She enjoyed fishing, bird watching, gambling, The Golden Girls, hunting for rummage sales, and having her morning coffee with her twin brother, Sheldon.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Gary Wilson; children: Ken (Dawn) Wilson, Laura Wilson, Keith Wilson, Sherry (Jim) Reinsbach, Raleigh Wilson, and Tracy (Jason) Fisher; grandchildren: Heather, Amanda, David, Tiffany (Kerry), Devin, Payton, Zach, Nick, Destiny, Nathan, Zoey, Austin, Matthew, and Grant; six great-grandchildren. She is further by nieces and nephews, her twin brother’s children whom she was especially close with, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sheldon (Georgia) Behnke.

A private service was held for family.

Thank you to the caring staff of KindredHearts of Green Lake for taking such wonderful care of Sharon while she resided there. Thank you also to Dr. Abigail Puglisi at ThedaCare-Berlin for the compassion showed to Sharon and her family throughout this journey.
