Sharon Lee Burman

Sharon L. Burman, age 61, of Oshkosh, died October 20, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Sharon was born in Milwaukee on June 8, 1950 a daughter of Marvin and Eleanor Burman (Dawson). She was preceded in death by both of her parents.Sharon retired from the telephone company back in June of 2000. She was a technical specialist in the Construction Control Center in Youngstown, OH. She had lived in Ohio for eleven and a half years before she moved back to Oshkosh, WI in June of 2009. Sharon was also employed at Mercy Medical Center as an environmental associate until she was diagnosed with cancer on April 1, 2010.She is survived by one sister, Judy Burman of Santa Barbara, CA., and one nephew, Michael Burman his wife, Mary Anne and their two children, Matthew and Kaley, all of Oshkosh also her cousins from the Dadas family and friends.She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and going to Perkins and Hardees for coffee and doing her crossword puzzles.A special thank you goes to the Aurora Hospice team. Especially Micki (RN) and Amy the social worker for their personalized care and concern for my well being.Visitation will be held for Sharon on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 4-8 p.m. with a short service at 6 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
