Shelby K. Derr

Shelby K. Derr, Age 58, passed away with her family by her side, Monday, December 13th, 2021. She was born in Oshkosh, on November 23, 1963 to Leslie and Suzanne (Weigandt) Derr. She graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1982.

Shelby had many winning attributes, she was passionate about life and was her mom’s go to angel-helper, but wouldn’t stop at that, she would help anyone who needed it. Shelby touched many hearts- you know who you are.

Shelby worked as a Client Solutions Support Specialist at FOX World Travel. In her 34 ½ years there, she formed many friendships and had a special love for her FOX family.

Early in life, she won multiple athletic awards for her abilities in cheerleading, volleyball, gymnastics and softball. Later in life, she looked forward to family casino trips, deer hunting, sturgeon spearing, traveling to different countries, relaxing on the beach and being with the people she loved. Shelby had a multitude of friends; she couldn’t go anywhere without running
into someone she knew.

Shelby is lovingly survived, and will be deeply missed by, her parents, Leslie and Suzanne Derr, siblings, Quint (Mary) Derr, Nickie (Dee) Durant and Kerry (Scott) Derr, nieces and nephews, Ashlee (Chris), Bridget, Dustin, Travis (Staci), Nick, Alissa (James), and Rachel. She had a special place in her heart for all of her great nieces and nephews, especially Dayhton and
Dakota. Shelby is further survived by her soulmate-sister Anita, and her special friend Lonny.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her sister, Kelly Derr.

A memorial service for Shelby will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 400 N Sawyer St. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jeffery Knoll officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
