Shirley A. Schick

Shirley A. Schick, age 84 of Oshkosh, passed away at Ascension Mercy Hospital-Oshkosh, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was born in Oshkosh on October 13, 1936 to the late John and Annabelle (Fink) Monday. Shirley married Walter Schick on December 22, 1954, their marriage was blessed with five children.

Shirley was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Cribbage, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and baking for others. Shirley’s family never turned down a chance to delight in one of her homemade cream puffs, eclairs, or kraut kuchen!

She is survived by her children: Robert Schick, Deb (Steve) Paffenroth, Connie (Fred) Frederickson, Jean (Scott) McMurray, and Dena (Mark) Person; grandchildren: Joshua Schick, Abby (Paul) Thomas, Rachel (Robby) Hinze, Braden (Tricia) and Heidi (special friend, Justin) Frederickson, Adam Paffenroth, Summer and Madison (special friend, Jeffrey) Strong, Sabrynn, Shannon and Shane McMurray, Luke and Kendal Person; ten great-grandchildren; brother: Bernard (Joan) Hunt; brother-in-law: Louis Krueger.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Schick; siblings: Duwayne and Robert Monday, Marcia Wescott, and Sandra Krueger.
