Shirley H. Eiler, 76 of Oshkosh died on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on August 24, 1931 a daughter of the late Gerald and Helen Keller Wenrich. Shirley married Jack Eiler on August 27, 1964 in Oshkosh.Shirley had been a seamstress for the C.A. Nueberger Co and also at Kings Laundry. She also was a cook at the Jesuit Retreat Center. She raised Schnauzers and had been a Campfire Girls Leader, Shirley enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, crafting, dolls and listening to country music. She would often spend time outdoors to watch and listen to the birds and be with nature.Survivors include her husband Jack Eiler; five children, Susan Philipp, Sharon (Peter) Clark, all of Oshkosh; Thomas Eiler Edgewood, MD, twins, Sheila (David) Fredrick, Brillion and Shelly (Bobby) Nixon, Plymouth; two step daughters, Kathy (Roland) Kessen and Jessica Eiler of Oshkosh;> Further survived by one brother, Raymond (Vivian) Wenrich, Oshkosh; four sisters, Geraldine (Dean) Heinzl; Charlotte (George) Bodenheimer; Audrey (Jack) Steinert; Marlene (Dennis) Hannes, all of Oshkosh; nine grandchildren four step- grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jungwirth and a grandson.Memorial services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside on Wednesday March 12, 2008 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Lenore Domers, Chaplin with Affinity Hospice officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to the time of service. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial to Affinity hospice has been established.Special thanks to all the care givers at Park View Health Center and Affinity Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Shirley.
