Shirley Fiegel

Shirley Fiegel passed into the hands of The Lord on Tuesday, October 15th surrounded by her family. Shirley was born on July 8, 1933 in Winneconne to the late Albert and Irene Wiesner. She married Robert Fiegel on May 13, 1950 at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro and spent a wonderful 63 years together. Shirley was a homemaker, and enjoyed collecting antiques, hunting on the family farm, growing roses and enjoying her grand children and great grand children. She especially enjoyed her summers on Washington Island fishing with her grand children, family and friends.Shirley is survived by her husband Robert, her daughters Terry (David) Rayburn of Florida and Judy (Steve) Scharpf of Oshkosh. Her grand children Aaron (Katie) Scharpf of Minnesota, Jason Rayburn of Iowa, Andrea (Andy) Dahl of Oshkosh and Kyle Rayburn of Florida. She is also survived by her great grand children Aubrey and Karley Scharpf and Landon Dahl. Also surviving Shirley are her sisters Sharline Fiegel, Connie (Marv) Kuhlman and her brother Kenney (Annette) Wiesner, and her sister in law Betty Schuster.She was preceded in death by her parents, mother in law Margaret Fiegel, brothers in law Don Schuster, and LeRoy Fiegel, sister in law and brother in law Caroline and Bud Trittin.Funeral services will be Saturday October 19th at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00, a memorial service at 11:00 will be conducted by pastors Jeffrey Berg and Nathan Erickson. Immediately following the service there will be a luncheon at the church.In lieu of flowers the family requests that a memorial donation in Shirley's name be made to Martin Luther Church or Martin Luther School.
