Shirley J. Voss

Shirley J. Voss, 80, of Oshkosh died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Sharehaven-Evergreen. She was born July 16, 1936, in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred Roebke Sagmeister. She married Paul E. Voss on October 19, 1957, in Oshkosh.Shirley was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and was active in the church choir and Grace Circle. She will be remembered as a caring, giving person who was always willing to help you out, she was always smiling and cheerful and loved her family very much.Shirley is survived by her husband, Paul E. of Oshkosh; a daughter, Diane (Mark) Goltz of Oshkosh; sons; Brian (Linda) Voss of Van Dyne and Bruce (Lynn) Voss of Grafton; six grandchildren, Kristen and Megan Goltz, Zach (Emily) Voss, Caleb Voss, Isaiah and Elijah Voss; and two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Norman Voss. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alvin Sagmeister Jr.A funeral service for Shirley will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church (913 Nebraska St.) Rev. Chadwick Graham and Rev. Jeffrey Duquaine officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.Shirleys family wishes to thank the staff at Sharehaven, Generations Hospice, and St. Agnes Adult Daycare for all their help and care over the last few years.
