Shirley Lois Webber

Shirley L. Webber, 88, of Oshkosh, WI, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL died at Evergreen on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She was born the daughter of Clifford and Lillian Rex Webb on January 23, 1926 in Irondequoit, NY. Shirley married Hubert E. Webber on May 26, 1956 in Schenectady, NY.Shirley was a teacher and minister of education before becoming a homemaker and mother. She had a Bachelors degree in education from New York State School for Teachers. Mrs. Webber was a long time member of the First Congregational Church in Crystal Lake, IL.Survivors include her husband, Hubert; daughter, Barbara (Albert) Webber-Cattani; son, Douglas E. Webber; grandsons, Joshua and Nathan Webber and A. J. Conner; and brother, Elliott Webb.A memorial service will be held at the chapel at Evergreen (1130 N. Westfield St. Oshkosh, WI 54902) at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2014 with the Rev. Arn Schaper officiating. Family and friends may visit at the chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Inurnment will be in Crystal Lake. Memorials to the Alzheimers Foundation or the First Congregational Church, Crystal Lake in Shirleys name have been established.Services in Crystal Lake for Shirley will be held Monday March 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at First Congreagtional Church.
