Shirley R. Rothe

Shirley R. Rothe, 90, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 9, 2024, at Courtyard at Oshkosh. She was born a daughter of William and Eva Nolte Baker on November 4,1933. She married Ralph Rothe on December 5,1953. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2015.

Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love that she had for her family, from her children to her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her devotion to having family gatherings, inspiring family togetherness that can never be broken. We are all very grateful for the memories of fun, jokes and laughter, we all got to share as a family especially at her happy place up North at the cabin.  When she wasn’t spending time with family she enjoyed spending time with her kitties, cooking and baking delicious dishes, sewing, or putting together puzzles.  She loved watching the Packers play on Sundays and her love for shopping was like no other getting the best deals and finding gifts to give to everyone she loved.   

Shirly is survived by her children Gregory (Connie) Rothe and Susan (Paul) Strieby; grandchildren Thomas (Amanda) Witczak, Daniel Witczak, Jennifer (Jason) Tiffany-Witczak, Andrew Rothe, and Steven (Mary) Rothe. As well as her great grandchildren Benjamin, Kendyl, Rylan, Harmony, Brynlee, Vincent, Briella, and Claire.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph and her 3 sisters.

Private family services will be held.
