Stanley H. Johnson, 90, a proud World War II & Korean War veteran, joined his wife in heaven Friday, June 27, 2014. Stanley was born in Oshkosh, WI on August 27, 1923. He was a practical, hard-working, and humble man who loved his wife not only until her last breath but also until his own. He loved his children: Glenn, Kenny (Sandy), Barbara (Ward) Carter, Bob (Marlene), and Steven, so much that they ALL wanted him to live with them when he was ready to leave his own house and they are all grieving the loss of his calm presence now. Stanley was also survived by his younger brother, Gilbert (Jan) Johnson of Clintonville, WI; by his 11 grandchildren: Dianne, Emily, Vanessa, Ryan, Mary, Lindsay, Andrew, Robin, Elizabeth, Elise, and Jeremiah; and by his four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh.
