Stephan W. Lindo, age 75 of Oshkosh, took his last flight west on Thursday, November 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on November 18, 1946 to the late Sidney and Ruth (Tesdahl) Lindo.
Steve married Sally Hansen January 25, 1980. Together they raised three wonderful children, took in and loved numerous animals, traveled the world, and laughed a lot. No matter what twists may come with life, Steve faced them all head on with an optimism we can all learn from.
Steve was a career pilot who flew commercially for Basler, Shamrock, Ozark, TWA, and American Airlines. He spent so much time around airplanes he could decipher what type of aircraft it was by the sounds of the engines. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, woodworking, making homemade maple syrup, and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Lindo; children: Nick Griesbach, Katie (Matt) Cox, and Gunnar Lindo; granddaughters: Sydney and Charlotte Cox; brother: Clark (Kathy) Lindo.
In addition to his parents, Stephan was preceded in death by his sister: Sharon Butler.
