Steven Allen Gluth

After a long battle with Leukemia, Steven A. Gluth, 74, Oshkosh, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.Steven was born on April 23, 1942 in Oshkosh, a son of Lester and Ethel (Rasey) Gluth. Fifty-eight years ago, he met the love of his life Pinky, Priscilla (Ilk) at his favorite record store where she tripped and fell in to him. It was love at first sight and the rest was history! On May 5, 1962, they were united in marriage at Sacred Heart Church by Priscillas uncle, Reverend Gerald Ilk.He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1960. Upon graduating, he worked at Badger Concrete and then later as a route salesman for Continental Baking Company up until his stroke in 1993.He enjoyed spending time up north at his cabin with family, snowmobiling, collecting records, and his daily trips to the grocery store to get the deal of the day. He was a loyal Packer fan who never missed a game. He loved to travel. His last wish was fulfilled when he was able to take a special trip to Yellowstone National Park with his wife, brother, twin sisters and sister-in-law.Steve is survived by his wife Priscilla; three children, Terri (Jerry) Kleinschmit, Darcy (Brian) Trebiatowski and Steven L. Gluth; six grandchildren, Christopher Kleinschmit, Ryan Kleinschmit (Hayley Harding), Haley Wozniczka (Carlin Munsch), Braydon Wozniczka, Cody Trebiatowski and Wyatt Trebiatowski; a brother Gary (Kathy) Gluth and twin sisters, Barbara (Tony) Beregszazi and Beverly Flanigan (Ira Koepke); sisters-in-law, Patricia (Lenny) Madel, Rosayn (Gordon) Knudsen; brother-in-law, Herb (Marcia) Ilk and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, paternal grandparents Paul and Martha (Luedtke) Gluth Baier and maternal grandparents Leo Rasey and Katherine (Duex) Nigh.Respecting his wishes, there will be a family gathering to celebrate his memory. Cremation will take place and the family will be assisted by the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes. His ashes will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
