Steven B. Fischer

Steven B. Fischer, age 71, passed away with his brother by his side on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was born on May 8, 1950 to the late William and Marilyn (Ironside) Fischer in Oshkosh. Steven married Gail VerVelde on April 20, 1974.
Steven was a proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era. His military service went on for over 20 years.
Steve enjoyed all types of action, SiFi, western, adventure, and comedy movies and shows. Steven also enjoyed reading books at Menominee Park in the summertime, playing video games, working on his computer, going for walks, or ride the city bus to sit back and view the many changes that have taken place in Oshkosh over the years.
Steven is survived by his brothers: Bill Fischer, Mike Fischer, and Ken Fischer; sister-in-law: Janet Fischer; nieces: Jennifer and Kelly Fischer, Sherry Fischer; nephews: Dean, Phillip, Shaun, and Dallas Fischer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter: Tambria Fischer; brothers: Jim Fischer, Paul Fischer, Dwight “Douglas” Fischer, and Scott David Fischer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at Lake View Memorial Park, weather permitting. If inclement weather occurs, the graveside service will be held in the Lake View chapel.
