Susan Mary Stuve of Hartland, Wisconsin entered the Kingdom of Heaven on October 19, 2016.Susan was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 25, 1940. She was the daughter of John and Marian Gray, who preceded her in death.Susan attended Taylor High School in Taylor, Michigan. She married Alan Stuve on June 17, 1961 and they moved to Hartland, Wisconsin where Alan was an Industrial Arts teacher at Arrowhead High School.Susan held a variety of jobs throughout the years. She sang in the Choir and Praise Band at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Susan was an avid bridge player, a clogger, tennis player, a huge Badger fan, and an amazing Christmas cookie baker. She was a devoted and loving grandmother who spent as much time with her five grandchildren as possible.Susan is survived by her children Karen, John, and Mark, her sister Kathy (Sam) Walker, and five grandchildren: Alicia, Natalie, Maddelyn, Alaina, and Eric. She was preceded in death by Alan Stuve, Grant Krueger, and her sister, Margaret Harrison.A memorial service will be held on Friday October 28, 2016 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, W299 N5782 County Road E, Hartland, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 10:00, followed by the service at 11:00 and a luncheon at the church afterward. It is said that it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a village to care for someone afflicted with dementia. The family extends their deep appreciation and gratitude to all the amazing and kind caregivers that helped Susan during the final year of her life in Oshkosh. You all made a huge difference in the life of Susan and our family. We thank you more than we could ever express.Arrangements are being coordinated by Konrad Behlman Funeral Home of Oshkosh and Evert-Luko Funeral Home of Hartland.
