Suzanne Mae Winter

Suzanne M. Winter, age 81 of Oshkosh, passed away on August 10, 2017 peacefully at home. Sue was born May 15, 1936 in Tigerton, WI, the daughter of Robert M. and Bertha A. Kriegel.
On June 12, 1954 in Oshkosh she was united in marriage to Donald “Mike” W. Winter recently celebrating 63 years. Sue enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time at the cottage on Chain Lake in Lakewood with family and friends. She also enjoyed visiting casinos with Mike and their close friends the Hallas.
Sue was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and a past member of the Badger Bums Camping Club. She worked for Wisconsin Bell/AT&T for 30 years. She was also a long time member of Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by her fun, loving husband Donald “Mike”, three children, Debbie (Ron) Graff, Oshkosh, Karen (Keith) Pierce, Muskego, and Michael (Kim), Oshkosh. Eight grandchildren, Alexis (Matthew Stogbauer), Catherine (Troy Stadler) and Olivia Graff, Oshkosh, Kristin, Racine, Kyle (Kelsi), Raeford, NC and Kelsey (Aaron Bishop) Pierce, Oak Creek, Devin (fiancee Joelle Siepmann) Winter and Carley (Craig Reiter) Winter, Oshkosh. Two great granddaughters, Grace Graff-Stadler, Oshkosh and Kenzie Pierce, Racine, one brother Kenneth “Butch” (Kay) Kriegel, Oshkosh and sister-in-law, June Kriegel, Oshkosh. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, son, Marc A. Winter, brothers, Robert and Delton Kriegel and sister and brother-in-law, Caryl and Richard Harvot.
The memorial service for Suzanne will be held at Konrad Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, WI at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 14, 2017. The Reverend Paul Lidtke will officiate. Visitation with the family is from 3:00pm until the hour of the service. Burial will be at a later date in the Union Cemetery in Tigerton, WI.
