Tammy M Ording, age 49, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer at Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 25, 1975, to the parents of Peter Ording and Mary Lee Hardrath in San Clemente, California.
Tammy grew up in Manitowoc, WI and later moved to the Fox Cities, then settled and established her roots in Oshkosh. After high school, Tammy went on to earn her degree at Fox Valley Technical College on the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Roll.
Tammy enjoyed camping with her friends and family and rarely missed an invitation. Crandon, Michigan and Wolf River were her favorite camping spots. Along with camping, Tammy looked forward to her yearly trips with her family to the Nascar race in Michigan followed by a stop at the sand dunes for some 4-wheeling fun. Tammy was independent, strong willed and lived life to the fullest. She loved her circle of friends and was the first to plan a night of fun. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandson. One of her proud accomplishments was being a five-year Cub Scout Leader for pack 3706 in which her son Cayden was a scout.
Along with her love for her family, Tammy had a special place in her heart for animals and had many pets over the years who enjoyed life beside her as loyal companions. There was nothing she wouldn't do for a dog or cat in need. Her dogs Kilo, Remy and Marley were lucky to have her and will truly miss her.
Tammy is survived by her parents, Peter (Grace) Ording and Mary Lee (Delvin) Hardrath; her children: Kaleb Wunderlich (Alex) and Cayden Carlson; grandson: Lynkin Wunderlich; siblings: Kristine (James) Kopp, Matthew (Brittany) Hardrath, Jacob (Rebecca) Ording, Sarah (Gabriel) Ptasienski, Bryan (Connie) Denk, Rececca Wiesner, and Daniel Hardrath; Grandmothers: Adelaid Ording and Beverly Novak, Grandfather: Richard Novak; nieces: Brooklyn (Richard), Morgan, Nicole, Magnolia, Thea and Jayna; nephews: Erik, Isaiah, Ronin and Cole; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
