Thelma Lee Woldt, 86, of Oshkosh died Saturday evening, November 22nd, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born August 1st, 1922 in Vincennes, Indiana and was the daughter of Leona and Alexander Toppins. Thelma married Louis Woldt on May 27, 1957.Thelma adored her family and made them her life. She loved spending hersummers at Little Silver Lake, in what she called Gods Country. Her optimism, love of family & friends gave her the strength to overcome incredible challenges. There wasnt a day that went by that she didnt have a kind word or put a smile on someones face. She was employed at Miles Kimball for many years seasonally as a proofreader.Thelma is survived by her five children; Terrie Richards of Appleton, Heidi (Mike) Loewen of Oshkosh, Timothy (Barb) Woldt of Milwaukee, Trina (Richard) Woldt of Oshkosh and Michael (Joan) Woldt of Oshkosh. Nine Grandchildren, Laure Kosey, Lisa (Mike) Sammons, Missy (Ray) Poor, Timothy II Woldt and Sarah Woldt, Matthew, Trina and Taylor Loewen and Hans Woldt and seven great grandchildren. Also, her very special sister-in-law, Bette Toppins and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Leona and Alexander Toppins, her husband Louis Woldt and one brother, John Toppins.The family would like to thank the guardian angels who cared for Thelma atEvergreen Retirement Community and Aurora Medical Center. Special thank you to Dr. Knier, Ann Marie Swanson, Dr. Freund, Dr. McSweyn and the nurses in the ICU. Also, a special thank you to our dear friend Sandy Foley. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation Wednesday, November 26th between 11am -1pm followed by a mass at 1pm in St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Drive, Oshkosh, (920)-233-8044. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
