Theodore William Hart

Theodore Ted W. Hart Sr., 90 of Oshkosh, died Saturday October 30, 2010 at his home. He was born in Tomah, WI on July 6, 1920 son of Leslie E. and Lettie E. Purdy Hart. On August 31, 1946 he married Marilyn F. Schneider. Ted was employed by Morgan (Door) Manufacturing. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He also belonged to VFW Post 1908 where he had been Past Commander; District Commander; and the Commanders Club. He also belonged to and had been commander of the Military Order of Cooties. He was also a keynote speaker for Alcoholics Anonymous. He loved camping and traveling with his wife.Ted is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hart; sons, Theodore W. Hart Jr., Robert (Dawn) Hart, and James (Pam) Hart; daughter, Anna Marie Hart all of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Melissa, Justun, Britni, Danielle, Courtney, and Samantha. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Letty Marilyn Hart and an infant son, John Leslie Hart; three brothers, Robert, Royal, and Leslie Hart; and two sisters, Nita Mae Kunkel and Eugenia Bruette.His funeral will be on Thursday November 4, 2010 at the Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jakes Voker officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
