He is also survived by three siblings: Daniel (Doreen) Cook, twin brother Timothy (Cathy) Cook and Lois, fondly known as Louie, (Jon) D’Aleo as well as several nieces and nephews.
Tom was employed by the City of Oshkosh through his retirement in 2003. He was very proud of the 24 years he spent in the U.S. Army Reserve, which was evident by his signature army jacket. Tom loved “smoking and joking” with his tenants during the 44 years he spent as a landlord. He also loved gardening and sharing his produce with friends and neighbors. But more than anything, he was proud of his two boys and grandchildren.
