Tom lived 25,995 days. Not nearly enough. He loved his family and numerous friends. He leaves behind many sad people, especially sad are his wife Ginger, his children: Eric, Robin (Tom) and Seth, his grandchildren: Andrew, Isabella, Maxwell and Noah, his sisters: Barb and Chris (Tom), Nieces: Jenny, Shelli (Chad) and Macie, his nephew Jeff and mother in-law Esther.
He was preceded in death by Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and his parents.
Tom loved to cook. He would tell you that he was a “pretty good” cook but everyone would agree that was an understatement. Besides good food, Tom valued a great cup of coffee. His thermos of coffee was with him at every gig.
Music was Tom’s lifelong passion. He was a phenomenal drummer with an award-worthy shuffle beat. Tom’s quick wit, unique fashion, and musical talents left an indelible mark. A guitarist, accordionist, and occasional songwriter, his masterpiece “Carey’s Lament” almost became an international hit. Tom’s legacy as the best drummer ever, his diverse music interests, and the void he leaves in the music community will be deeply missed. He passed doing what he loved leaving behind a vast musical family.
Tom embodied what he always wished for, peace and harmony.
His final exit was only as he could imagine, playing a loud last note to a life well lived.
The road goes on forever and the party never ends.
