Timothy G Winkler

Timothy G. Winkler, age 66, passed away on September 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Oshkosh on February 12, 1950 to the late Henry and Arlene Winkler. After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Army and served for two years. After his service, he spent most of his working life as a laborer at Duo Safety Ladder. In 1974, he married the love of his life, Sandra Stark, who passed away on March 25, 2016. Together they had two sons and when they were young Tim would play tag on their bikes, kick the can, or army men with them. He was always the adult ready to play with the kids. Tim loved his grandkids; he also liked spending his time fishing and playing cards. Tim is survived by his two sons, Jim (Pam) Winkler, Jeff Winkler; three brothers, Frank Winkler, Chuck Winkler, Dennis Winkler; sister, Gloria Gutche; six grandchildren, Jared Winkler, Lindsay Winkler, Emmett Winkler, Abner Winkler, Sam Kunes, and Quinn Milheiser.Jim and Jeff would like to thank their Aunt Shelby for all that she did for their Dad in his last years. She is one of a kind.Services for Tim will be held graveside at Lake View Memorial Park on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 10AM. Rev. Martin Ruge will be officiating.
