Vanice Lou Jacobs

Vanice Lou Jacobs, age 83, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was born January 16, 1932 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Walter Jacobs and her sister, Audrey Dilts. Vanice was a member of the Anchor of Hope Presbyterian Church in Max Meadows. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gordon Jacobs of Max Meadows, VA; three sons, Steven Jacobs of Austin, TX, Clint Jacobs of Panama City Beach, FL and Bruce Jacobs of Brandy Station, VA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Coller of Little Arbor Vitae, WI and Jean Carolan of Beaver Dam, WI. The family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Anchor of Hope Presbyterian Church in Max Meadows followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. the Reverend John Davis officiating.Also, Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Ellenwood Cemetery in Oshkosh.
