Verlyn "Vern" P. Klicko

Verlyn “Vern” P. Klicko, 96 of Oshkosh, passed away at Parkview Health Center on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023. He was born July 18th, 1927 to the late Arthur and Gwendolyn (Sias) Klicko. Vern was united in marriage to Josephine Babcock, who preceded him in death.

As a young man, Vern proudly served our country and received honors through the United States Armed Forces. Both before and after his Army years, Vern was an accomplished entrepreneur. His profession as a truck driver fed his adventurous spirit, as he was known for his love of the open road. He was an avid problem solver, enjoyed reading, watching Westerns, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughter Lori Klicko as well as extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Vern was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Klicko; children, Darwood, Tyrone, Tony, Randy, and Jolene Babcock; siblings, Don, Glenn, Delores, twin brother Vernon, Darrell, and Darrlyne.

The funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be held in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, in Oshkosh, WI.
