Victor L. Berndt Jr.

Victor Leonard Berndt Jr., age 60, passed away peacefully at his home in Appleton at 10:22 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  He was born on January 27, 1962, to Victor and Marilyn (Schmitz) Berndt Sr. in Appleton. Victor was united in marriage to Wendy Kearn on September 7, 1991.

Victor was known for his humor, pride, innovation, proactiveness, work ethic, love for science-fiction, technical skills, meticulous lawn care, attention to detail, strong will, and cooking ability. Victor endured years of medical hurdles however, remained optimistic, strong, and always made the best of any situation.

Victor is survived by his wife of 30 years, Wendy Berndt; sons: Mitchell and Mason Berndt; mother, Marilyn Berndt; siblings: Jason Berndt and Terri (Kelly Howlett) Berndt; numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins; and three canine companions: Stevie, Chewy, and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Berndt Sr. in 2009 and his grandparents.

A funeral service for Victor will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Westgor Funeral Home, 1140 Appleton Rd, Menasha. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
