Victoria L. McHugh, 51 of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 19, 1955. She married her soul mate and best friend, Steven H. McHugh on February 17, 1978. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven, her mother, Barbara Shock, and stepfather, Everstelle Shock, her children Christopher (Nicole) Garland, Bobbie Jo (David) Solomon, and Steven (friend, Tracy Schmude) McHugh Jr. She was a devoted grandmother known as Mema to Alexander and Andruw Garland, and Ian and Malachi G. McHugh, Noah Schmude and soon to be arriving grandson, Brandon Solomon. She is also survived by her two sisters, Beverly (Joseph) Lampke, and Paula Robin (Steve) Benjamin, and a brother, Edward (Theresa) Shock. She will also be missed by her dear aunt, Patricia Basford, other aunts, and uncles. She is survived by Grandma Ma, Loraine Spiczenski, her mother-in-law, Josephine (Roy) Floyd, father-in-law, Terry (Bonnie) McHugh, two brothers-in-law, Terry (Dawn) McHugh, and James (Sally) McHugh, a sister-in-law, Angela McHugh, along with numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Malachi Z. McHugh. Vickies life revolved around her grandchildren. She loved watching Teletubbies, Sponge Bob Square Pants and wrestling with her grandsons. She loved to thrift stores and was an avid Barbie: and NASCAR collector. She had been employed by the Mercy Medical Center for many years and will be greatly missed by her co-workers and friends. Her family would like to send their sincere thanks to the doctors and staff in I.C.U. at Mercy Medical Center for all of their hard work and care. They treated Vickie with great care as if she were one of their own. Also we would like to recognize all of the extra special care that her daughter Bobbie gave her, leading a double life to always make sure that Vickie had a familiar face smiling with her! Family and friends may visit at the home of Roy and Jo Floyd on Sunday, March 12, 2006 between the hours of 1 and 4 PM. Vickies love will forever live on through the smiling faces of her grandsons.Its rare to find a love that will last through eternity. Steve and Vickie shared such a love.
