Vincent Rasmussen

Vincent P. Rasmussen, age 60, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday morning, October 27, 2020. Vincent was one of four children born to Noel and Jean Rasmussen. He was born July 2, 1960. He married Lynne Waller (high school sweethearts!) on December 18, 1981 in Oshkosh, WI. After graduating from high school, he and his wife moved to Tulsa, OK to pursue his dream in aviation at Spartan School of Aeronautics. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Vincent began working as an AMP mechanic for American Airlines, a position he held for 22 years. A devout Christian, Vincent would often spend time studying his Bible and he and his wife Lynne were members at Shepherds Chapel. Vincent and Lynne then moved back to Oshkosh in 2012 to be closer to family.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Lynne; mother, Jean Rasmussen; loving children, Vincent W. (Amanda Whisman) Rasmussen and Sean N. Rasmussen; grandchild Deven R. Rasmussen; siblings Larry Rasmussen, Randy (Debbie) Rasmussen, Alex (Michelle) Rasmussen. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Noel Rasmussen who passed away on December 22, 2019. A private service will be held for Vincent.
