Viola E. Hackbarth, 95, of the Town of Nekimi, died at Aurora Medical Center, Oshkosh on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. She was born on September 19, 1911 in the Town of Nekimi the daughter of Henry and Augusta Zemke Luebke. Viola married Arthur Hackbarth on May 2, 1929 in Waukegan, IL. Arthur preceded her in death on December 10, 1978.Viola was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Nekimi.Survivors include her daughter, Arlene Zentner of Nekimi; three grandchildren, Wayne (Carol) Zentner of Slinger, Roger (Joan) Zentner of Oshkosh, Linda (Michael) Reinke of Oshkosh; eight great grandchildren, Cassandra (Chad) Wohlt, Kelly (Quentin Fravert) Zentner, Jessica (Matt) Potratz,, Jillian (Jeff Tritt) Zentner, Rachel (Dan Gantner) Zentner, Brandon, Kristine, and James Reinke; two step great grandchildren, Jeramie (Amber) Lenhardt, Derrick (Laura) Lenhardt; two great great grandchildren, Nicholas Potratz, Caitlin Wohlt; two step great great grandchildren, Paige and Alexis Lenhardt, and several nieces and nephews. Viola was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three sisters, Irma Fisher, Mabel Widner and Laura Schumacher.The funeral service will be on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. James Reiff officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from Noon to the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Violas family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Maassen and the nursing staff at Aurora Medical Center for the care she received.
