Viola Weideman

Viola R. Weideman, 91 of Oshkosh, died Thursday December 7, 2006 at the home of her daughter. She was born March 19, 1915 the daughter of Frederich and Mathilda Riehl Doemel. On June 26, 1935 she married Arthur H. Weideman at the St. Paul Ev. Church in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1979. Viola managed Lucilles Dress Shop in downtown Oshkosh for 42 years. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ and a member of the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Altrussa Club, the American Study Club, the Order of the Eastern Star Oriental Chapter 16, and a Past Matron of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She is survived by her two daughters, Sue (Richard) Howell and Dianne (David) Reamer both of Oshkosh, four grandchildren, Lynn (Stephen) Neyhard of Oshkosh, Barbara (Don) Stukey of Satellite Beach, FL, Stacey (Michael) Koehn of Oshkosh and Debbie (Paul) Jacques of Oshkosh, seven great grandchildren, Amber Coleman, Joey and Sarah Stukey, Mitchel and Samantha Koehn, and Emily and Julia Jacques, and dear to her heart, James Samuel. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Elmer and Ralph Doemel.Funeral services for Viola will be on Tuesday December 12, 2006 at Noon at the St. Paul United Church of Christ with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial to the church has been established.
