Virginia Arlene Disch

Virginia A. Disch, age 91, passed away into the hands of her Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Bella Vista Manor. Virginia was born on May 24, 1924 in Fond du Lac, WI and later married Earl Disch on September 1, 1946 in Fond du Lac. After their marriage they moved to Oshkosh and spent summers at their cabin in Eagle River.She went to grade school at St. Peters Lutheran School and graduated from Fond du Lac High school. She went to work at the Telephone CO. in Fond du Lac, and then later in life became a house keeper at Mercy Medical Center for fifteen years until her retirement.She was a long time member at Martin Luther Lutheran Church and was active in the ladies guild, bible class, and also a Sunday school teacher there for many years.Virginia is survived by her son: Bradley (Sue) Disch; granddaughters: Jennifer (Kirk) Wright of Boston and Kristen (Justin) Heimsch of Delafield, WI; great grandchildren: Aidan and Sophia Wright and Ava, Gabe, and Lucas Heimsch: and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Elearnora (Ruch) Scholler; her husband: Earl; brothers: Gordon (Nina) and Eugene Scholler; and her son Jeffrey Disch.A private family service will be held.The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Bella Vista Manor and the Generations hospice team of Fond du Lac that provided additional excellent care.
