Virginia B Ruck

Virginia B. Ruck, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Care Partners in Little Chute. She was born on November 17, 1924 in Oshkosh the daughter of the late Edward and Esther (Thomas) Bramer. Virginia was united in marriage on June 9, 1945 to Victor H. Ruck at Christ Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. He preceded her on May 23, 1975. Virginia worked many years at Neubergers, clothing manufacturer as the floor supervisor. She was an avid gardener and helped with the community garden. She enjoyed hosting Japanese girls from the university.Virginia is survived by her nieces and nephews.Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; parents, step parents, Bert and Lillian (Zuehlke) Thomas; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Elder Ruck, Emil (Althea) Ruck, Milton (Dorothy) Ruck, Irene (Harold) Gauger, Delores Duffy, and William (Lois) Ruck.Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Church Ave, with Pastor Jen Czarnota officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church from 10:00 am until time of service. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.A special thank you to Care Partners in Little Chute and Asera Care Hospice, for their love and care for Virginia.
