Virginia E. Crain

Virginia E. Crain, age 85 of Oshkosh, passed away at her residence on Friday, January 12, 2024.   She was born in Illinois on February 16, 1938 to the late William and Mary (Varsek) Richardson.

Virginia (Jinny) worked at Barber-Coleman in Rockford, Illinois for many years.  She raised her family in Rockford prior to moving to Oshkosh to be near her grown children.  

Jinny  loved her family most of all.  She is survived by her children Claudette (William Mark) Elliott and Daniel Crain II; grandchildren, William Justin (Chelsea) Elliott, Brooke Angelina (Mitchell) Madlon, Whitney Danielle Elliott and Mitchell Blake Elliott; great-grandchildren, Adalynne Cynthia Elliott, Damon Cole Elliott, Rylee Jayde Elliott-Geurden and Willow Mary Elliott; sister, Mary Fulghum.  Jinny was a faithful and loyal mother, grandmother, and friend!  She loved her family immensely and was truly loved by them!

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brothers, William and David Richardson.

A celebration of life was held by her family.
