Virginia L. Cole, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, December 4, 2022. She was born to the late George and Ella (Goodwin) Cole Sr. on September 23, 1948, in Batesville, MS. Virginia was baptized at St Benedict Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. Virginia worked at various jobs throughout her career, but her time as a caregiver was her most meaningful position.
Virginia enjoyed going fishing as well as decorating her home with her friends and family throughout the many seasons of her life. She loved her grandchildren and extended family and enjoyed watching them grow under her guidance.
Virginia is survived by Tonette (Danny) Gregory; grandchildren Montez, Shantez (Courtney), Charles, Thomas (Kenyetta); great-grandchildren, Nayeliah, Zayden, Callie, Ny’liah, Dream; siblings, Juanita Epps, Maragret Medley, William (Denise) Cole, Luvenia (Willie) Mitchell, Diane (Raeburn) Gray, Annette Cole, Rodney Cole, Larry (Carol) Davis, Debbie (Rev. Mike) Lee, Linda Davis, Marylin (Mike) Scarbrough, Tony Davis; Virginia is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings, Lonnie, George Cole Jr, Stevie Cole, Michael Cole, Lawyer Cole, brother-in-law, Joseph Epps.
A memorial service for Virginia will be held at Lake Pointe Drive on Friday December 16, 2022, at 12PM. A time of visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service.
