Warren J. Krause, 66, of the Town of Omro died at his home unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Warren was born on January 18, 1939 in Oshkosh the son of Karl N. and Gwendolyn M. Edwards Krause. He married Margaret Clausen on May 8, 1965 in Rice Lake, WI. Warren was a 1957 Graduate of Oshkosh High School and a veteran of the 32nd Infantry Division of the Army National Guard. He worked at the Western State Bank then M & I Bank and then Associated Bank through its three name changes and before that at First Wisconsin State Bank. Warren enjoyed fishing, hunting, lawn mowing and dog sitting. He loved time spent with friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.It was very important that all activity come to a halt during Paul Harveys radio broadcasts so that Warren would not miss the show.Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the Town of Omro; one daughter, Sherry L. Hitz; two sons, Karl W. (Lisa) Krause and Robert L. Krause; two grandchildren Johnathon and Kira Hitz; and one brother, K. David (Barbara) Krause all of Oshkosh. Warren is also survived by a very good friend, Charles Mathwig; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceding Warren in death are his parents and one son-in-law Daniel Hitz.The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Randall King officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to the time of service. Inurnment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
