Wayne Carlton Ostwald

Wayne C. Ostwald age 89 of Oshkosh died at Evergreen on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born in Oshkosh on April 2, 1923 a son of the late Carl and Elizabeth Luft Ostwald. He married Mildred Traugott on June 30, 1945 in Oshkosh. Mildred preceded him in death on February 25, 2011.Wayne had been a dairy farmer for fifteen years before working at the Morgan Door Company, retiring after 29 years. He was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Survivors include his daughter, Judy Hunt of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Michelle Moseman, Kristine Mosel, Andrew Hunt; five great grandchildren, Meg, Kate and Erin Mosel, Bryce and Tanner Hunt; one brother, Donald (Clara) Ostwald of Florida; one sister, Marlene Morris of Neenah; one sister-in-law Lucille Miller of Oshkosh and a special nephew, Gary E. (Claudeen) Ross of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred, daughter Bonnie Sue Ostwald and sister Irene Ross.Funeral services will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church (1526 Algoma Blvd.) on Wednesday October 31, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Revs. Jeffrey Berg and Nathan Ericson officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am to the time of services. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
