Wayne George Sleezer

Wayne G. Sleezer Jr, 54, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday March 28, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 30, 1952 in Chicago a son of the late Wayne and Eileen (Tuttle) Sleezer. Wayne married Susan Stefanko on June 30, 1981 in Oshkosh. Wayne was formerly a chef at Ridgeway Country Club and Bethel Home. He played football for UW-Oshkosh and was a member of the EAA and Culinary Association. He was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Wayne is survived by his wife Susan of Oshkosh; a brother Daniel (Kathy) Sleezer of Lisle, IL; a sister Rene (Wayne) Barbier of Wheaton, IL; nieces Melissa Barbier, Ashley Avery, Terra Pierson, and Sara Avery; nephews Michael Barbier, Daniel Sleezer, Christopher Sleezer, Kevin Sleezer, Ryan Flaherty, Joseph Flaherty, Nicholas Efaw, Thomas Efaw, Nicholas Nobles, and Gerritt Nobles; a great-niece Taylor Pierson; and a great-nephew Carter Pierson. Funeral services for Wayne will be held Saturday March 31, 2007 at 11:30 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-West, Deacon Greg Grey officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Superior, WI. A memorial has been established. Waynes family would like to thank the staff at Preferred Home Health Care and the staff at St. Raphael Catholic Church.
