Wayne Niemuth

Wayne Niemuth, age 66 of Oshkosh passed away on March 31, 2016 at Ripon Medical Center. He was born on June 11, 1949 in Oshkosh the son of the late Marvin P. and Helen M. (Morrow) Niemuth. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War and did a tour in Vietnam from 1968 until 1974 as a Navy Seabee. Wayne was united in marriage on December 3, 1971 to Paula J. Wagner in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with two children. Wayne was the owner of Niemuth Concrete Contractors from 1973 until his health made him retire in 2009. He enjoyed restoring his antique Farmall tractors, hunting and spending time at the shooting range. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.Wayne is survived by his wife, Paula of 44 years; one son, Mike (Jenny) Niemuth of Omro; one daughter, Missy (Bob) Sykes of Appleton; five grandchildren: Wesley Ashcraft, Taylor, Hannah and Carter Sykes, and Remi Niemuth; two sisters: Sandy (Dave) Sanders and Linda (Jon) Whitpan; three sisters-in-law, Kathy (Keith) Foster, Jo-Ann (Lowell) Oppor and Mary-Jo (Bruce) Andrasko; one brother-in-law, Fran Welby (Jan) Wagner; special uncle, Benny (Patti) Niemuth; further survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother-in-law, Marvin Manthey.Waynes wishes are to be cremated and private inurnment to take place at King Veteran Cemetery. A memorial is being established.The family would like to thank St. Agnes Hospital and Agnesian Hospice team especially Dr. Dwayne Clark and staff for all their wonderful care that was given to Wayne. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
