William M. Romlow, age 61, of the Town of Black Wolf, died Friday March 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born on January 29, 1951 in Oshkosh a son of Herbert and Betty Dumke Romlow. On June 14, 1970 he married Christine Mathe in Michigan.He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country in Vietnam, and had worked for the Postal Service for over 42 years.He is survived by his wife Christine, one son Michael Romlow, two daughters Melissa(Jim) McLaughlin, Heidi Romlow, one brother Paul(Jeanne) Romlow, seven grandchildren Billy, Nicholas, Christian, Gabriel, Andrew, Alex, Holly, one great-grandchild Ezra, one brother-in-law Jim(Linda) Mathe, two sisters-in-law Susie Frost, Lori(John) Olszewski, his mother-in-law Helen Mathe, many nieces, nephews and his best friend Bob Allen. He was preceded in death by a son Stephen, a brother Mark Mateyka, and his father-in-law Donald Mathe.A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 22, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside with Fr. Matt Simonar officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank Dr. Duffy, the staff of Aurora Medical Center and Aurora Visiting Nurses.
