Mr. William Matthews Treible, age 61, died Wednesday June 28, 2006 at his residence after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Bill was born in Milwaukee, WI. On Dec. 26, 1944 to William J and Loretta Treible. He graduated from Pius High school in Milwaukee. And received a BS degree from UW — Milwaukee. Bill served his country in the US Navy from 1963 until 1967 during the Viet Nam war. He spent seven months of that time in Da Nang. He returned to Milwaukee and worked as a printing owner/operator at the Ecads Company for 23 years. He later moved to Oshkosh in 1995 for the position of Purchasing Agent for Printing at UW — Oshkosh until his bout with cancer in March of 2005.William is survived by his wife, Patricia, three step-daughters, Karen Forberg (Steve Price) of Naples, Fl, Cheryl Forberg, Napa, Ca. and Paula (John) Beritzhoff, San Francisco and four grandchildren, David and Erica Ettinger and Jack and Beau Beritzhoff. He is also survived by one sister, Ruth (Vince) DiBella, of Milwaukee, three nieces, Anne DiBella (Paul Dowden), Dea (Phil) Creanza, Gina DiBella (Tim Romang), and one nephew, Vincent DiBella. Bills parents both preceded him in death along with a younger brother, Tom, who lost his life in Viet Nam. Bill was an active member of New Life Community Church and dedicated many hours of his time to causes which glorify God. He gave much and asked for little. Bill was a most unique and loving person whose compassion and humility touched the lives of many. He was the best friend and deeply devoted husband to his wife, Pat. He will be missed greatly and his memory shall be cherished by all who knew him.Funeral services for William will be held on Friday July 7, 2006 at 10:00 am at New Life Community Church (3250 W 9th St Road) with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday July 6, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside from 4:00 until 7:00 pm and again on Friday at the church from 9:00 am until the hour of service. Private burial will be at St. Martins Cemetery, Bancroft.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.His master replied, Well done, good and faithful servant!
