Wilma Frances Lucas

Wilma Herzig Lucas, age 93, passed away Tuesday August 4, 2015 at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 18, 1922 in Eureka, the daughter of the late William and Nora Davis. She married Carl Herzig in 1942. Their marriage was blessed with six children. Carl passed away in 1968. She later married Lawrence Lucas in 1979; he preceded her in death in 2005. Billie is survived by her daughters Carleen Peterson and Lorraine (Harry) Hartmann, her sons Rusty (Donna) Herzig and Carl D. Herzig and her son-in-law Dan Raddatz. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.Billie is preceded in death by her husbands, her daughter Karen Raddatz, her son Jeffery Herzig, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded by all seven of her siblings and their spouses.In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside service at Lake View Memorial Park, where she will be buried next to Carl.Her family would like to thank the staff at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they gave Mom during her stay there.
