Zelpha M. Armstrong-Luft

Zelpha M. Luft, 91, of Oshkosh died Monday, February 15, 2016, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation. She was born August 10, 1924, in Neenah a daughter of James Wesley and Zelpha Devens Armstrong. She married Alvin Luft on April 23, 1996, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2001.Zelpha was a clerk for many years at Luft Printing and Candy located on Algoma Blvd., close to UW-Oshkosh, until college expansion closed the shop in 1967. She then helped out with the print shop and mail order printing at the Luft home. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed visiting with her relatives and taking care of her many cats.Zelpha is survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Florence Spanbauer; and four brothers, Earl, Arnold, Allan, and James Armstrong.A funeral service for Zelpha will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016, at noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
